771 pages??? I made it 200 pages in and nothing had happened except a kid being sad in a rich person's apartment. Beautiful writing I guess but life is too short.

I appreciate the honesty but "a kid being sad in a rich person's apartment" is doing The Goldfinch dirty. Give it another hundred pages and see if the Las Vegas section changes your mind.

Eleanor I say this with love but asking me to read another hundred pages of a book I already quit is a big ask. Maybe someday.
