Still processing this one. The structure — God, the structure. How do you write a novel that's simultaneously about a single afternoon and the entire history of a consciousness? Woolf doesn't stream consciousness, she IS consciousness on the page. Need to sit with this longer before I can rate it. Every time I think I've landed on a tier it shifts.
